The Rev. Dr. Louie Boykin, pastor of Baldwin Branch Missionary Baptist Church (da Branch), was bestowed “The Light 103.9 FM Lamplighter Award 2019” on Saturday, Nov. 2 at the Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts in Raleigh.
Boykin earned the award among the three finalist due to his exemplary leadership in the church’s outreach programs and countless activities assisting the various communities with essential fundamentals.
A surprise reception was given at “da Branch” in his honor after worship services Sunday, Nov. 3.
