Paul Brown Leadership AcademyELIZABETHTOWN – The Paul R. Brown Leadership Academy Bulldogs closed out their season Tuesday night with a 71-20 non-conference victory over Community Baptist.

The Bulldogs raced to leads of 19-1 and 38-8 en route to the victory. Zarian Brown fired in 14 points to lead the winners, and Marquese Robinson followed with 13 points.

Micah McKoy tossed in 11 points, and teammates Davion Lacey and Marvin Lacewell scored 8 points each. Brandon Strange pulled down 6 rebounds for the Bulldogs.

McLean Pait topped the Community Baptist scoring with 11 points, and teammate James Russ added 4 points.

The Bulldogs finished with a 7-7 record after being winless last season. “It was a step in the right direction,” said Bulldog Coach Ken Cross. “We only lose two seniors so hopefully we can build on this season.”
