BLADENBORO – West Bladen peppered the Stallion goal with 19 shots Thursday night, and 6 different players scored goals as the Knights rolled to a 6-0 non-conference boys soccer victory over South Columbus.

Senior Martin Rojas Jacinto opened the scoring with a goal for the Knights, and senior William Verdugo-Gomez found the back of the net with 15:12 remaining in the 1st half to pad the West Bladen lead to 2-0 at halftime.

Senior Joshua DeLeon turned an assist from sophomore Christopher Ramirez Labra into another Knight goal with 27:24 on the 2nd half clock. Less than 3 minutes later. Ramirez Labra banged in a goal of his own to grow the margin to 4-0.

Sophomore Kevyn De La Cruz Labra drilled in an unassisted goal with 7:41 left. Junior Darwin Garcia closed out the scoring at the 3:20 mark converting an assist from freshman Jonah Bryan into the final goal of the night.

Junior Oswaldo Gonzales-Lopez and freshman Dylan Hernandez combined on the shutout in goal for the Knights. Gonzales-Lopez recorded 5 saves, and Hernandez was credited with 2 saves.

Coach Kristen Parker’s Knights improved to 5-3-1 on the season and will host rival East Bladen Monday night at 6:30.
