TABOR CITY – South Columbus defeated West Bladen 5-4 Wednesday to move into a 3-way tie for second-place in the Three Rivers Conference boys tennis standings.

South Columbus moved into a tie for the league’s second play-off spot with East Bladen and St. Pauls.

Singles
Jose Hernandez Osorio (WB) defeated South Columbus #1 6-1, 2-6, 10-4
Victor Arellano (WB) defeated South Columbus #2 6-2, 6-1
South Columbus No. 3 defeated Logan Lewis (WB) 6-4, 6-3
South Columbus No. 4 defeated Eduardo Carranza (WB) 6-2, 6-1
South Columbus No. 5 defeated Tristen Sadler (WB) 6-1, 6-1
South Columbus No. 6 defeated Mark Flores Reyes (WB) 6-1, 6-2

Doubles
Osorio/Carranza (WB) defeated South Columbus #1 8-4
Arellano/Lewis (WB) defeated South Columbus #2 8-5
South Columbus #3 defeated Sadler/Reyes (WB) 8-5

West Bladen finished the season with a 3-13 record. Osorio will advance to the Class 2A MidEast Individual Regionals after the Easter Break.
