WHITEVILLE – Former East Bladen star Brady Hollingsworth blasted a home run, and former Eagle teammate Freddy Wooten belted 2 hits Sunday, but their Southeastern Community College Rams dropped a 14-5 decision to Pitt Community College.
Hollingsworth (pictured above) poled his home run over the right field fence in the 9th inning, and smacked a 7th inning single to finish 2-for-3 at the plate.
Wooten (pictured left), who drilled a grand-slam home run Friday, lined a single to right in the 2nd inning, singled again in the 3rd inning and reached base on an error and later scored in the 6th inning. He batted 2-for-5 with a run scored.
The Rams, now 4-7 in Region X play and 10-15 overall, are slated to play the Francis Marion JV at 2 p.m. Wednesday.
