AUBURN, Al – West Bladen grad Brandon Council has accepted an invitation to play in the 2023 National Football League Players Association Collegiate Bowl to be played on January 28th in the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, CA.

Council completed his collegiate career Saturday as his Auburn Tigers were defeated by No. 8 Alabama in the ‘Iron Bowl.’ Council played the entire game at center for the Tigers and led an offensive line that cleared the way for 318 yards rushing and 395 total yards.

The 6-foot-4, 328 lb. Tar Heel native has started all 12 games this season for the Tigers and is versatile enough to play all 5 offensive line positions.

The NFLPA Collegiate Bowl is a post-season all-star game for any draft-eligible college football players. It is a week-long experience that gives players a chance to showcase their game to NFL scouts and coaches.
