Raleigh – On Thursday afternoon, Break the Majority, an initiative between the North Carolina Democratic Party and Governor Cooper, will open a new field office in Wilmington with a rally featuring Democratic candidates Harper Peterson (SD-9), Leslie Cohen (HD-20), and Marcia Morgan (HD-19). Each Democratic candidate will discuss their campaigns and rally supporters.
The field office is one of 20 offices that Break the Majority plans to open as part of building one of the largest legislative field campaigns in the country. The New Hanover field office will support all of Break the Majority’s efforts in the surrounding counties and is focused on electing strong Democrats up and down the ticket.
