Brenda Lee Haire Gooden, 73, of Elizabethtown went home to be with the Lord on September 27, 2017.
She is preceded in death by her father James Lewis Haire, her mother Evelyn Haire King and brother James Lewis Haire Jr.
Brenda leaves to cherish her memory, husband Kent Gooden of the home, daughter Kimberlee Gooden White and husband De of Elizabethtown, sister Faye Fenegan and husband Willard of Winston Salem, grandchildren: Megan, Anna, Kate, and Cameron, a special aunt Elma Lee Singletary and niece Sheila Ray and husband Rich.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, September 30, 2017 at 2 pm at Wesleys Chapel UMC in Elizabethtown followed by burial in the church cemetery. Rev. Darrell Copeland and Rev. Eckie Lancaster will be officiating the services. The family will receive friends after the services in the Family Life Center at the church.
