William Brisson, who represents the NC House District 22, has been appointed to serve on several committees for the 2015-16 legislative year.
Those appointments include Vice-Chairman of Agriculture, Vice-Chairman of Appropriations, Chairman of Appropriations for Health and Human Services, member of Environment, member of Ethics, Vice-Chairman of Health, member of House Select Committee on Step Therapy, member of House Select Committee on Strategic Transportation Planning and Long Term Funding Solutions, member of Insurance, member of Regulatory Reform, and member of Wildlife Resources.
He is also appointed to serve on several non-standing committees. Those appointments include Vice-Chairman of the Joint Legislative Oversight Committee Agriculture and Natural and Economic Resources, advisory member of Environmental Review Commission, member Joint Legislative Commission on Governmental Operations, member of Joint Legislative Oversight Committee on Health and Human Services.
Brisson is from Dublin and his legislative district includes portions of Bladen, Johnston and Sampson counties.
