Fairmont 15, Bladen County 4
CLARKTON – Fairmont pulled away from a 4-4 tie and defeated Bladen County 15-4 in the Buddy Burney AA (Coach-Pitch Scholarship Games Friday night.
Zay Gray belted a single and circled the bases for the first Bladen run in the first inning.
Three Bladen runs in the third inning tied the game 4-4. Luke Pait and Luke Bryant cracked singles, and both of them scored when Jackson Pait hammered a double. Jackson Pait scored the tying run later in the inning.
Jackson Pait’s 2-run double led the Bladen hitters. Gray, Luke Pait, Bryant and Jack Combs connected for one hit each for Bladen County.
