On Wednesday, December 4, 2024, Trillium Health Resources invites the community to participate in the Supporting Children Early Simulation, a free interactive event aimed at raising awareness and empathy for families and children with disabilities. This meaningful program will take place at Cape Fear Valley Hoke Hospital in Raeford, NC, in the second-floor conference room, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with check-in starting at 9:00 a.m.

The Supporting Children Early Simulation offers participants a unique opportunity to step into the shoes of families navigating the challenges of raising children with disabilities. Through a series of mock stations, attendees will experience the barriers families encounter when seeking essential services and resources. This firsthand perspective helps foster understanding and highlights the importance of early detection and support for lifelong success.
