MOUNT OLIVE – Elizabethtown’s Cade Hancock received the Play of the Year Award Tuesday night at the University of Mount Olive Athletic Awards Banquet for his playoff winning birdie putt that propelled the Trojans men’s golf team to their first ever Conference Carolinas championship.
The Trojan golf team qualified for a NCAA Division II regional berth with their conference title and will travel to Lakeland, FL for regional play on May 6-8.
