The holiday season is upon us, and Camp Clearwater invites the entire community to join in the festivities at their annual Christmas Tree Lighting Event on December 7, 2024. This much-anticipated event promises an evening filled with fun, warmth, and holiday spirit.
The celebration kicks off at 3:30 PM with a festive hayride departing from the waterfront, taking attendees to the Brickhouse. There, Mrs. Mandy from the Bladen County Public Library will host an enchanting storytime and craft session for all ages to enjoy.
At 5:30 PM, the highlight of the evening begins with the grand Christmas tree lighting. Guests will also enjoy delicious food sales, Christmas music, and the chance to meet Santa Claus, who will be available for photos and spreading holiday cheer.
As the night progresses, the excitement continues with an 8:00 PM site decorating contest, featuring Santa as a special judge. This friendly competition invites creativity and community spirit as participants showcase their holiday decorations.
The gates of Camp Clearwater will be open to everyone, encouraging all community members to come together and celebrate the season. This event promises an unforgettable evening filled with holiday magic, laughter, and cherished memories.
