The members of the Cape Fear Masonic Lodge No. 300 held a community lunch on Monday in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
The lunch took place following the annual parade in downtown Elizabethtown. The event was just one of several events that took place on Monday to honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
In addition to the luncheon, the Elizabethtown Presbyterian Church also held a program that featured guest speaker Dr. Delton Farmer of Fayetteville. Music for the event was presented by the Second Presbyterian Youth Choir and dance was performed by the Liturgical Dance Team of College Heights Presbyterian Church of Fayetteville.
