FAYETTEVILLE – It’s time to live a little, laugh a little, and breathe much easier!
Cape Fear Valley Health will hold its annual Asthma Action Fair on Saturday, May 21, inside the HealthPlex gymnasium. The free event is from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. and is open to the public.
The Asthma Action Fair has become Cumberland County’s largest asthma event over the years. It offers free asthma educational seminars for both children and adults. Attendees can also speak to medical professionals in person.
This year’s event will again provide free giveaways, including spacers, peak flow meters and nebulizer kits, while supplies last. Free refreshments and activities for all ages will also be provided.
The educational seminar will begin at 10:30 a.m. Door prize drawings will be at 11:30 a.m. A $300 grand prize drawing will follow. Winners must be present to win.
