The Carolina Bengals will hold tryouts for their spring football season on the 1st 2 Saturdays in December (the 4th and 11th). The tryouts will be held at 1665 East Arcadia Rd in Riegelwood.
Cheerleading registration will begin at 11 a.m. on Dec. 4th. Registration fee is $10.
Football player registration will begin at 12 noon on the 4th and will continue until 2 p.m. Registration fee is $25 for players. Tryouts will continue on Dec. 11th from 12-3 p.m.
The Bengals are a semi-pro team that plays in the Coastal Football Alliance. Owners Jermain and Katrina Brown shared, “Our goal is to bring a version of NFL style Football to our area while encouraging our young men to participate in positive outlets. We hope to use this as an opportunity to get those young men and women a second chance to go to college or pro.”
