Come and celebrate Mardi Gras with the Carolina Civic Center on Saturday, Feb. 6, at 7 p.m. with Orange Kellin’s A Night in Old New Orleans featuring Vernel Bagneris and other performers.
The program features vintage New Orleans song and dance, starring Vernel Bagneris. Joining Kellin and Bagneris will be pianist and singer Steve Pistorius, generally acknowledged as the finest in the city, and drummer, Walter Harris, both veterans of the New Orleans traditional jazz scene, regulars at Preservation Hall and countless appearances with various New Orleans bands and singers.
Tickets $23 or $17 each with the advance purchase of 10 or more. Perfect for churches and other organizations – or just a group of friends! SRMC PrivilegesPlus members cost is $17 and student tickets are just $10.

Tickets also can be purchased in person or by telephone with credit card or cash between the hours of 1 and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday through our administrative offices located on the theater’s second floor (enter on Fourth Street side), or by calling the Civic Center at 910-738-4339. Tickets can also be purchased at the door. The theater lobby box office opens for ticket sales one hour prior to performance.
