Celebrities attended the Tree Lighting Ceremony in Dublin on Saturday evening. There were beauty queens, local elected officials, and the Grinch in the crowd ready to celebrate the occasion. Then Santa Claus arrived with the Dublin Fire Department.
“It was a great night,” Mrs. Tracy Smith, one of the event organizers stated.

Those in attendance watched the tree lighting ceremony, enjoyed fellowship and hot coco. The event organizers thanked everyone for showing their support and attending the event.
The annual event is organized by the Dublin Peanut Festival committee.
