Center Road is closed due to a joint failure in a pipe, according to the NC Department of Transportation’s website. According to the website, the road is estimated to remain closed through Friday. The closure is between Berry Lewis Road and Zion Hill Church Road.
There is no signed detour but the website recommends traveling Berry Lewis Road and NC 211 to go around the closure.
The road had to be closed on Friday, Jan. 15, due to the pipe failure.
