Elizabethtown - White Lake Chamber of Commerce

The Elizabethtown-White Lake Area Chamber of Commerce held their organizational meeting of the Chamber Ambassadors program on Tuesday morning at City Sandwich Shop in Elizabethtown.

There are 11 Ambassadors who are currently serving. Erin Smith and Bille Sue Hall were selected to serve and chair and co-chair respectively.

“I’m really excited about the Chamber Ambassadors program and I look forward to serving with everyone. I think it will be an exciting year for both the Chamber Ambassadors and the Chamber Board,” said Smith.

The Ambassadors will, among other things, work together with the Chamber Board to help grow and build the Chamber and to assist with promoting events. The Ambassadors will also volunteer at events as well as assist Chamber Executive Director Dawn Maynard.

The Ambassadors discussed the possibility of planning a fundraiser in the future.

The group decided to hold their meetings on the third Tuesday of each month. The next meeting of the Chamber Ambassadors will be Tuesday, July 19, at 8 a.m.
