Chandler’s Backstreet Barber Shop opens in Bladenboro with a celebration

Chandler Lennon, his family, and friends celebrated his Grand Opening of Chandler’s Backstreet Barber Shop in Bladenboro with Boost the Boro, Inc. members on Friday at 4p.m.

Terry Nance, Boost the Boro President welcomed the crowd and Lennon to his new location.

“Chandler, we are proud of you, thank you for taking a chance on Bladenboro,” Nance said.

After Pastor Autry prayed for the business the Boost the Boro, Inc members presented Lennon with a plant to help commemorate the occasion.

There were refreshments offered to all those in attendance.

Lennon has been a licensed barber for two years.

Lennon said at the opening, “I moved back to be close to home, to support the community, and to get back in a family owned building.”

The new shop is located at 117 Railroad Street in Bladenboro.

The hours of operation are as follows:

Mon – Tues 8-5

Wed. -closed.

Thurs – Fri 8-5

Sat 9-1
