Emereau: Bladen is pleased to announce that Mrs. Elizabeth Cole has been hired as the new Executive Director effective June 15, 2019.
Mrs. Cole earned her B.A. in Elementary Education from The University of North Carolina at Charlotte and earned principal licensure from Sandhills Leadership Academy. She has a total of 23 and a half years of experience in education. Her most current position was principal at Elizabethtown Middle School.
Mrs. Cole is quoted as saying, “I am eager and excited to serve Emereau: Bladen Charter School. I am looking forward to continuing to grow professionally while being a part of my hometown and serving students from all over Bladen County. While having enjoyed my tenure with Bladen County Schools and appreciating their trust in me to lead Elizabethtown Middle School, this new chapter will provide an incredible opportunity to broaden my professional horizons while serving the community I love.”
Mrs. Elizabeth Cole and her husband, Lee, reside in Elizabethtown and have two children, Hannah and Collin.
