Elizabethtown – Mr. Charles B. Moore, 84 passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at Bladen County Hospital in Elizabethtown, N.C. He was born on August 23, 1933 in Bolton, Mississippi to the late Melvin and Fannie B. Moore. He proudly served and retired from the United States Air Force. He also retired from Bladen Community College were he served as the Vice-President of continuing education.
Survivors include his wife L. Pearl Moore, daughters Lesia Moore of Indianapolis Indiana, Debbie Moore of Durham NC., LaWanda Williams (Dennis) of Charlotte N.C., and a son Charles Moore (Valarie) of Lanham Maryland. Charles was preceded in death by his daughter Beverly Lee.
The funeral service will be on Sunday, November 12th, at 1 p.m. at St. Rest Holiness Church located at 5397 Johnsontown Rd, Elizabethtown N.C. 28337.
