Mutual Aid Between Fire Department and Sheriff’s Dept.
“Big shout out to Bladen County Sheriff’s Department! We were out in this heat today in the middle of a combination wheat field/combine fire. The Sheriff’s Department heard us calling for another department to bring cold drinking water. Firefighters were struggling in the intense heat.
Thank you to Deputies Matt Long and Travis Deaver for answering the call. If we can return the favor, please don’t hesitate to call. This is what we call teamwork in Bladen County!”
