Chris Cromartie & Campbell Roll Past Presbyterian

BUIES CREEK – Former East Bladen star Chris Cromartie and his Campbell Camels rolled past Presbyterian 72-0 Saturday night to claim their 1st football victory of the season.

Cromartie recorded 3 tackles – 1 solo – from his defensive line position as the Campbell defense held the Blue Hose to only 40 yards rushing, recovered 3 fumbles and intercepted 7 passes.

Meanwhile, Camel quarterback Wiley Hartley threw for 342 yards and 6 touchdowns in his 1st start at quarterback replacing the injured Hajj-Malik Williams. Michael Jamerson rushed for 101 yards and 2 touchdowns as the Camels racked up 580 yards of total offense.

Campbell, now 1-2, has an open date next week before traveling to North Alabama on October 2nd at 7 p.m.
