The board is being asked to vote on whether to allow the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NC DPI) to conduct an analysis of the district based on enrollment and other factors. “A motion to request that the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction’s School Planning Division provide information on projected school enrollment, recommendations on district reorganization of schools, and that considerations for consolidation proposals be postponed until DPI has provided recommendations based on their review of relevant data of Bladen County.”
