For the third consecutive year, CSD students participated and won the Bladen Community College Writing Contest. Students composed essays to the following prompt: “If you were given a chance to be an important personality from the past or the future, who would you want to be and why?” CSD is proud to house the overall winner Nick Norris along with school winners, Larson Cashwell, Amelia Harris, Katie Evans and Jacob Priest. Winners received a plaque and publication in the 2017 edition of The Ink Quill. Bladen Community College Vice President for Student Services Barry Priest presented the school library with a copy of The Ink Quill and all thirty participants with a certificate of recognition.
