HARTSVILLE, SC – West Bladen grad Clint Allen connected for 3 hits as his Coker Cobras completed the regular season with weekend double-headers against UNC-Pembroke.

Saturday Coker dropped two games at Pembroke. In Saturday’s opener Allen raked a single through the left side in the third inning.

In the nightcap the Bladenboro native ripped a single through the middle in the third inning then drew a lead-off walk in the sixth inning and scored the only Cobra run of the game.

In the opener of Sunday’s double-header at Coker, Allen laced a fifth inning single. The senior leftfielder finished the weekend with 3 hits in 9 at-bats.

The Cobras, now 22-22 on the season, will open play in the South Atlantic Conference Tournament Thursday at 7 p.m. against Carson Newman at Smokies Stadium in Kodak, TN.
