WILMINGTON, N.C. – Jan. 15, 2019: Club Golf Indoor is set to tee off at RiverLights™ with a Grand Opening Celebration on Saturday, January 19, from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. Test your golfing abilities in the closest to the pin challenge, practice your swing with a wide open driving range, and improve your accuracy with choices of different target golf games. The public is invited to join in on the fun with simulators set on various games for patrons to try for free, complimentary chair massages from a licensed massage therapist, special giveaways, half off draft beer and local bites from Magnolia Social Café. Join the Facebook event for more details.

Club Golf Indoor is a state-of-the-art indoor golf facility and sports bar that allows you to practice at golf courses across the world with four Full Swing golf simulators, delivering a real life ‘on the green’ experience. The 2,700 square foot venue also offers an inviting, urban design with comfortable seating, walls of glass, numerous TVs and a large, full-service bar made from reclaimed wood. Club Golf Indoor will soon feature a full menu for its patrons.

Patrons will have a chance to play on the world’s most legendary golf courses, enjoy a favorite beverage, and have food delivered from Magnolia Café or Smoke on the Water. Lessons, league and tournament play will also be available.

The Full Swing simulators at Club Golf Indoor – which are also found in the homes of many of the PGA’s major champions like Jordan Spieth, Tiger Woods, Jason Day, Jim Furyk – utilize patented dual tracking technology to deliver a golfing experience that is almost identical to the real world, with critical, stroke-improving feedback available for those who are interested in learning more about their swing path, club head speed or the position of the club face at impact. Patrons are encouraged to bring their own clubs if desired or choose from a complimentary demo set available at the facility.

“We are extremely excited about the opening of Club Golf at RiverLights,” said Jim Henry, vice president of operations of Newland Communities. “The venue brings a lively, interactive experience to the community and adds to the dynamic experience that Marina Village offers.”

Located at Marina Village in RiverLights nearby Magnolia Café, Smoke on the Water and Southern Shores, Club Golf Indoor was founded by Wilmington locals Tina and Tyler Eversole, who wanted to provide a virtual golf experience in a relaxing, social, fun community environment without losing that classic feel that preserves the game.

“This is about more than just bringing Pebble Beach, Bay Hill and Torrey Pines to Wilmington,” said Tyler Eversole, co-founder of Club Golf Indoor. “It’s about creating a fun, welcoming environment where golfers of all ages can share in the love of the game, regardless of weather or time constraints.”

“With all of the rain we’ve had and many local courses having to close, Ty and I asked ourselves what the next best thing to playing golf outside could be,” said Tina Eversole. “This is the culmination of our dream—the result of many long hours of research and planning, and we are excited to share it with the Wilmington community.”

“Our focus is on inclusiveness, good vibes and giving back to the local community,” added Tyler Eversole. As long-term residents of the Wilmington area and parents to an energetic four-year-old, an emphasis on family and the importance of maintaining a schedule were also paramount to the couple when envisioning the concept of Club Golf Indoor.

“Although we love the game of golf, we recognized that it doesn’t always fit into the demands of a busy schedule. We’re thrilled about the fact that you can play a full round of golf here in about an hour, whether it’s raining or cold or dark outside. It’s also exciting for us to think this is the perfect place to learn the game, and that the simulators offer a variety of other family-friendly activities, such as soccer, zombie dodgeball or carnival games,” explained Tina Eversole.
