Below-normal temperatures are expected for much of the week, with the potential for hazardous wind chills in certain areas.

• The week begins with isolated light showers across parts of northeast South Carolina, clearing out by late Monday.

• Dry conditions are forecast for the remainder of the week, accompanied by mostly sunny skies.

2. Cold Weather Advisory:

• A Cold Weather Advisory has been issued for Tuesday night into Wednesday morning.

• Wind chills as low as 15°F are possible, particularly in typical cold spots of southeast North Carolina.

3. Temperature Outlook:

• Highs:

• Around 50°F on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.

• Low 40s on Wednesday.

• Mid-50s by Friday.
