Forum Group DiscussionBladen Community College has offered their auditorium to hold the Community Forum to Unite today, Wednesday, July 13, at 3 p.m. facilitated by BladenOnline. The event’s purpose is to create dialog, trust and education, to build relationships across cultural divides for the betterment of Bladen County according to Charlotte Smith with BladenOnline.

“At this forum we will talk with the District Attorney’s office and law enforcement to better understand each other and learn ways we may work together when it comes to their jobs protecting and serving our citizens.” Smith said.

The citizens in attendance will be asked to write questions they have on card between 3 and 3:30 p.m. while light refreshments are served. Once the forum begins presentations will be made. After the presentations have been made the questions submitted will be asked at the end of the forum by Charlotte Smith and addressed by the proper spokesperson.

District Attorney Jon David said, “Our mission, One Bladen County, Safe and Fair.” The Sheriff and other law enforcement echoed David’s mission.

Everyone is invited to attend the forum today at 3 p.m. at Bladen Community College auditorium in Dublin. Light refreshments will be provided.
