Melissa Hall is a Roseboro resident, dedicated wife, mother of three, and registered nurse. Hall has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer. Her community is coming together in order to host a fundraiser on August 6, 2022, to help offset the financial stress of loss of income and to help with medical bills. The fundraiser will include various events such as selling BBQ Chicken plates and baked goods, hosting a motorcycle ride, holding a silent auction, and multiple raffles.
The BBQ chicken plates are $8 per plate, and the sale will last until the fundraiser’s end. The motorcycle ride begins at 8 AM and starts at 10 AM. Each Motorcycle entry is $20, and every additional rider is $5.
The raffle items include four (4) guns. There will be an AR-15, a Glock 9MM, and a 1976 Convertible Eldorado Cadillac in the raffle.
Participants may take advantage of the silent auction that will be held during the event. There will be two get-away trips as items. One includes a one (1) week stay in a Myrtle Beach Condo, and the other is a one (1) day guided fishing trip on the Roanoke River in Plymouth, NC.
When asked how he felt about it, the fundraising project manager Tony Bullard stated, “I’m very excited about doing this project.”
Bullard invites everyone to join the special event on August 6, 2022. The event will be located at Peter’s Creek Community Center, 13004 CS Faircloth Road, Roseboro, NC 28382.
