Rev. Billy Graham
CHARLOTTE – Dr. Billy Graham will lie in honor in the Rotunda of the United States Capitol on Wednesday, February 28th.
Following a private ceremony for the Graham family, Members of Congress, and other government leaders, the public will be invited to view Dr. Graham’s casket from approximately 1 p.m. through 8 p.m. Viewing will take place on a first-come, first-served basis. Hardworking Americans who wish to honor Dr. Graham should enter via the Capitol Visitor Center.
“This is a big honor for a farm boy who grew up milking cows on a dairy farm just a mile from my Charlotte office,” said Congressman Pittenger. “Billy Graham was America’s pastor, but for those of us in North Carolina, he was also just one of us. We are proud of his worldwide impact, but more so for his faithfulness and humility in following God’s mission for his life.”
