CONGRESSMAN PITTENGER GREETS NORTH CAROLINA MILITARY PERSONNEL IN JAPAN
WASHINGTON – This morning, Congressman Robert Pittenger (NC-09) met with North Carolina military personnel while visiting Yokota Air Base in Japan.
Congressman Pittenger was at Yokota Air Base to meet with Major General Charles Chiarotti (USMC), Deputy Commander of United States Forces Japan, and other leaders, to discuss regional security concerns, including North Korea and China. Later in the day, he was scheduled to meet with Members of Japan’s Diet.
“Tar Heel pride! Thank you to these brave women for defending our freedom so far from home,” said Congressman Pittenger.
Congressman Pittenger serves as Vice Chairman of the House Financial Services Subcommittee on Terrorism and Illicit Finance.Share:
