WASHINGTON – On Monday, Congressman Robert Pittenger (NC-09) and other leaders of the Congressional Pro-Life Caucus met with Vice President Mike Pence at the White House to discuss pro-life support for the American Health Care Act.
“We spent an hour with Vice President Pence reviewing legislative procedures to preserve pro-life issues in the American Health Care Act and ensure that your tax dollars are not used to support abortion,” said Congressman Pittenger. “House Leadership is responding to input, and at the end of the day, I think we’re going to come together and pass conservative health care reform that hardworking Americans can actually afford to use, and which restores your freedom to choose the health care that’s best for you.”
