CHARLOTTE – The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) has presented Congressman Robert Pittenger (NC-09) with the “Guardian of Small Business Award” in recognition of his support for small business issues in Congress.
NFIB President Juanita Duggan presented the award to Congressman Pittenger on Wednesday during a ceremony in the Veterans Affairs Committee room on Capitol Hill.
“Small business owners are the unsung heroes of the American economy,” said Congressman Pittenger. “They quietly create new jobs, drive innovation, and help grow our economy. Supporting the unique needs of small business owners in Congress is my privilege.”
Congressman Pittenger serves on the House Financial Services Committee, with a special focus on supporting small businesses, community banks, and credit unions.
