Dear Fellow Constituents,
Thank you for your great support in a terrific victory Tuesday.
The National election provides us an opportunity to “get it right” on healthcare, tax policy, welfare, immigration and border control, and national security, while appointing judges who will adhere to the Constitution and preserve the values and liberties which are the cornerstone of our republic.
Of political interest, our campaign had exceptional success throughout the new district. We are so grateful for this outpouring of support. Our campaign received more votes in Union County than any other federal campaign or Governor or Lieutenant Governor race, in great measure from the hard work of the Union County Republican Party. As well, with the dedicated support of county parties, our campaign won Bladen, Richmond and Cumberland counties, which normally go Democrat, as well as receiving 58 percent of the vote in Mecklenburg.
Thank you to a great team who helped carry our message to the 60 percent of new voters in six new counties in the district. We thank the Lord and the constituents of the 9th District for the privilege of serving in the 115th Congress.

PS. Yesterday I was on a conference call with Speaker Ryan regarding our “Better Way” agenda going forward. The Speaker has had multiple conversations and a meeting with President-elect Trump regarding policies and legislation and is very encouraged with the process. We return to Washington Monday to go back to work.
