FAYETTEVILLE – Congressman Robert Pittenger (NC-09) will co-host a House Veterans’ Affairs Committee field hearing on Friday, March 23rd, in Fayetteville.
Members of the House Veterans’ Affairs Committee will be in Fayetteville to examine Department of Veterans Affairs community care programs, including the Choice program.
“On average, my staff is working on 500 separate cases for local veterans,” said Congressman Pittenger. “Problems with the VA Choice program – both access for patients and prompt payment for providers – are one of the top issues we hear about. This hearing will be an important opportunity to discuss necessary strategies to improve service.”
The field hearing will take place on Friday, March 23rd, 10 a.m., at the Fayetteville Technical Community College General Classroom Building Rooms 108 and 114 (2817 Fort Bragg Rd.).
