U.S. Congressman Robert Pittenger issued the following statement with regards to this morning’s North Korean Nuclear Test.
“North Korea is far beyond a pestering menace. Through its ongoing provocation, it has emerged as an existential threat to the United States. America should use its full diplomatic, trade and economic measures to pressure China to fully engage North Korea, which is entirely dependent on them for economic survival. American offensive and defensive military assets will be fully deployed with any direct threatening missile launch by North Korea, which would have an incomprehensible devastating effect.” U.S. Congressman Robert Pittenger, N.C. 9th Congressional District
