FAYETTEVILLE – Beginning at 9 a.m. Friday, Jan. 20, Cape Fear Valley Medical Center will close its main entrance and part of the main driveway into the hospital to all pedestrian and vehicle traffic. This closure will last through Sunday evening to allow for the installation of a second construction crane as part of the ongoing Valley Pavilion expansion.

During this time, visitors will be directed to the parking deck entrance that faces Owen Drive where visitors will enter the hospital through a covered walkway into the Valley Pavilion from the parking deck. There will be no parking fees during this time.

Patients who will need to be picked up after they are discharged from the hospital during this time will be picked up at the Cancer Center entrance. This will not impact traffic into or discharges from the Emergency Department.

Laboring mothers will be directed to enter through the Cancer Center entrance during this time.

Cape Fear Valley Health apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause and thanks patients and visitors for their patience and understanding during this time.
