The Bladen County Board of Commissioners will meet on Monday night at 6:30 p.m. and address several issues.

The board will recognize the members of Boy Scout Troop 600 as well as present the 2015 annual report.

The board is expected to present a proclamation on Teen Dating Violence Awareness and Prevention Month and to hear from Kathleen Riely with the Cape Fear Resource Conservation and Development Inc.

The board will consider a capital outlay request from the Bladen County Board of Education, accept an upset bid for county property, consider a proposal to reorganize the revenue office, consider an agreement with Gary Piner for a contract as county real property appraiser.

The board is also scheduled to set a budget calendar for fiscal year 2016-17 and to hear several matters from the Health and Human Services Department. Those items inlcude the approval of a survey publication related to the 2016 Community Health Assessment, an application for a Young Families Connect grant, consider an agreement between Young Families Connect and Bladen Community College, consider a fee increase for rabies vaccine and approving a sliding scale fee.

The board is also scheduled to make several advisory board appointments and a closed session for a matter of client-attorney priviledge.
