Emergency Management officials said Bladen County is faring well during the winter storm.
Bladen County Emergency Management Director Bradley Kinlaw said the county has not experienced any issues with storm as of Friday morning.
He added there was one accident in the county on Friday morning but it is unclear if it was due to ice on the roadway.
“DOT has done a great job getting the roads prepared,” said Kinlaw.
DOT worked steadily on Thursday applying salt brine roadways and bridges ahead of the storm. DOT also had a crew working during the night to attend to trouble spots as they ocurred.
