Municipal and County governments are always looking for various ways to help keep citizens informed about important circumstances and emergencies situations taking place in their communities. Sheila Nance, Public Information Officer for Bladen County, announced the County of Bladen is promoting their Code Red system.
She said, “The county is trying to get the word out regarding this emergency notification system.”
CodeRED was selected for its reliability and accuracy, as well as the system’s wide spread adoption rates across the U.S. Residents have the option to receiving their Code Red notifications through email, text messages, or landline telephone calls.
To enroll in Bladen County’s emergency notification system, “Code Red”, text BLADENNC to the number 99411.
