According to Bladen County Health and Human Services, there are 406 active COVID-19 cases in Bladen County today, August 27th. This number is a slight jump from yesterday, when the total number of active cases was 391.

The CDC and Bladen County Health and Human Services recommend taking the COVID-19 vaccine to help slow the spread, and to protect yourself and others from the virus. Bladen County has many options for vaccinations, and they are free.

Bladen County Health Department accepts walk-ins for vaccinations Monday-Friday from 9 am until 4 pm. Recently, the health department extended its hours on Tuesday until seven in the evening for vaccines. Moderna and Pfizer vaccines are available for those over the age of twelve.

As a reminder, or in case you missed it, Bladen County Health Department staff are administering “booster” (third doses) of Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines to those eligible, by appointment only. Please consult with your healthcare provider for guidance on receiving the third dose. Call the Bladen County COVID HOTLINE 910-872-6291 for screening and third dose appointments.

On August 20th, Bladen County Health Department shared a helpful quarantine guide for unvaccinated individuals. View the guide below:
