Traffic was moving slowly on NC 20 Friday morning after two vehicles collided in the intersection of NC 20 and Chickenfoot Road. No serious injuries were reported.

NC Highway Patrol Trooper R. L . Walker said Daniella Takela George of Raeford was traveling south on Chickenfoot Road and failed to yield the right of way at the stop sign at NC 20. Anna Alicia Hernandez of Raeford was traveling east on NC 20 when George’s vehicle collided with her vehicle.

Ms. George was charged with failure to yield the right of way at a duly erected stop sign.

There were three passengers riding in Ms. Hernandez’s vehicle. They were Henry Hernandez, Eliel Gonzalez and Melanie Garcia, all of Raeford.

The Tobermory Volunteer Fire Department, Bladen County EMS, and North Carolina Highway Patrol, all responded to the scene. No one was transported to the hospital.
