A crash on Old Abbottsburg Road near Bladenboro on Wednesday afternoon sent one person to the hospital.
According to North Carolina Highway Patrol Trooper J. Weissinger, the car ran off the roadway to the right, crashed into a ditch then struck a bush, overturning in the process.
The driver was airlifted to New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington. There was no word as to the driver’s condition.
