DUNN- East Bladen’s Jacob Knuth finished in 2nd place in the boys race, and West Bladen’s Kirsten Warrick placed 10th in the girls race Wednesday in the final Southeastern Athletic Conference regular season cross country meet of the season.
Knuth posted a time of 20 minutes and 13 seconds that was 24 seconds behind Clinton’s Cristian Cruz who won the boys meet.
Warrick was clocked in 29 minutes and 27 seconds. Teammate Brookee Singletary was right behind her in 11th place with a time of 30 minutes and 35 seconds. Junior Kaden Thurman captured 14th place for the Lady Knights with a time of 31:42.
Other West Bladen girls competing were: Violet Allen, 19th place (33:30); Olivia Allen, 20th place (33:41).
East Bladen’s boys had runners finish in 23rd, 24th, 26th, 29th, 33rd and 37th places.
In the boys race freshman Jaiden Ward finished in 42nd place (33:52).
