RED SPRINGS – East Bladen’s Johnny Alvarado posted his 4th victory in the 5th race of the Southeastern Athletic Conference cross country season Wednesday to lead his Eagle boys to victory in the team competition.
Five Bladen County girls led by West Bladen senior Lainey Autry finished in the top 11 in the girls race. Autry took 3rd place followed by East Bladen’s Sabara McLean in 5th place. Lady Knights Kirsten Warrick and Holland Davis claimed the 6th and 8th place spots, and Lady Eagle Gabriella Bray was in 11th place.
Jacob Knuth placed 4th for the Eagles in the boys race, and West Bladen’s Demon’tre Love recorded a 6th place finish.
