The Cry Out America event will take place on Monday, Oct. 23rd, at 6 p.m. on the front lawn of the Bladen County Courthouse. The event had to be rescheduled due to inclement weather in September.
The Rev. Larry Hayes, one of the events many organizers, said fallen heroes, American veterans and honored guests will be recognized during the event.
“We, the Bladen County Cry Out America Team, believe that our county is a location in which God can start rebuilding America’s Christian foundation. Here, in Bladen County, we can cry out to God to help us rebuild the Christian principles this nation was founded upon. Our goal is to encourage every church and every heart, in Bladen County to join in earnest prayer for our County, State and Nation. If we want change, we must seek God while He can be found,” said Rev. Hayes.
