Chiquita Smith of Bladenboro, NC would like to announce the engagement of her son Da’Jour Smith to Kristin Jessie. Da’Jour graduated from East Bladen in 2009, and is currently employed at Parlett Painting, he is a loving father to Zha’Neiyah Smith who is 9 years old.
Kristin Jessie, daughter of Wayne and Vivian Jessie of Middlesex, VA, attended Middlesex High school and graduated in 2009 and is currently employed at state farm, she is a loving mother to Jasper Jr who is 6 years old and Kayden who is 3 years old.
Da’Jour and Kristen first met at Rappahanock Central Elementary school in 4th grade where they shared the same homeroom. After 16 years of none to minimum contact or communication, the two reconnected and the rest is history. The kids love each other and get along well, the love from both families is strong, it is confirmation that these too were made for each other. The wedding is set for June 3, 2017 at Union Shiloh Baptist Church in Jamaica, VA. the couple will reside in Urbanna, VA.
